Instructor: Dustin Grice –“For me personally, the world of graphic design and learning to build websites has built myself a foundation that changed my entire life… Since going to college here myself at HTC I’ve worked remotely on hundreds of projects for clients while traveling to dozens of different countries around the world… Life is anything you are willing to learn and create. I look forward to helping kick start and motivating you on your own foundation and visions.”
Course Format: Synchronous: LIVE Weekly Lectures In Class OR via Zoom, Questions, Help, etc (your choice, however in class is preferred when we can all learn together in person) *Flexible Time for Additional Assistance when Scheduled with Instructor
Room: Brooklyn Park – H185 *When on Campus
Book: We do not have any book costs, however as web developers we do need web hosting space to build websites on the internet. We have worked out a deal with a web hosting provider to give students three free months of web hosting, and then ballpark around $100/annually depending on your domain name, add-ons, etc.
Software: Mac or PC Free Coding Program (Atom, Coda, Text Wrangler), Internet Browser
Example Projects: WordPress Simple E-Commerce Website, Advanced WordPress Woocommerce Website, Elementor Website, Multiple Non-Wordpress Coding & Design Projects
